Hello everyone! As I type, I am still in Medford, sitting in Starbucks and still in a little disbelief that in less that two days I will be departing for South Africa. I am a little nervous and not looking forward to traveling over with a twelve-hour layover in Frankfurt, but I know that once I'm over there I will be at peace. God has been revealing to me more and more the closer I get to my departure that this is where He wants me right now, and I couldn't be happier to fulfill His purpose for my life. Who knows where this adventure will take me, but I am ready for my own Out of Africa experience (minus Robert Redford). If you could all keep me in your prayers, I would greatly appreciate it. I will try to post weekly updates while I am there and give you all my prayer requests for the week. I am so happy and blessed to have so many people supporting me as I go off and do this and I really can't thank you all enough. I won't be notifying people about my weekly blog posts via email but I will through Facebook so be looking for them there or just follow me via Blogger. I look forward to keeping you all posted on my Africa adventure! See you on the other side of the world!
Bon Voyage, Addi! I think maybe you are right in the middle of that 12-hour layover right now, and I hope you decided to venture out into Frankfurt! But even if you did not, I am sure the airport itself provides a lot of scope for the imagination ;)
